Although authentic Japanese sweets are expensive, they are sold for about a dollar, and many Japanese people buy them without a second thought.
In this book, I actually bought some of the easy Japanese sweets that can be purchased for about a dollar at convenience stores and supermarkets in Japan, and photographed them at home.
Unlike product shots of expensive Japanese sweets taken by professional photographers, this book gives you a taste of the real everyday life of Japanese people eating them casually at home.
